We’re going to be on TV!

We had an exciting visit from a film crew on one of our Bushcraft camping courses last week! They were filming for a 20 part series due to be broadcast on ITV in the Autumn following the rangers from six National Trust properties around Britain (incl. Sizergh Estate).

They filmed one of our school groups learning how to carve their own greenwood mallets, put up their shelter, and enjoy campfire treats and a story. Then while they snuck back to a plush hotel for the night we enjoyed a lovely night listening to the owls and woodpeckers and waking to gaze out from our shelters at eye level with bluebells. The film crew returned in time for breakfast and to ask the kids about their night and then filmed them learning to light a fire with a bow drill.

It's out in October so watch out for us!
